Ms. Noonan has over 20 years’ experience in diagnostic healthcare, business development and operations management. Ms. Noonan has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and Management from The American College of Business. Her entrepreneurial background of owning and operating a mobile medical health screening services in the 7 state mid-west region and unique blend of experience providing diagnostic medical testing in the cardiovascular and neuromuscular medical fields provides a unique background of both medical and business acumen. Ms. Noonan was key in development and implementation of The Iowa Health Systems HeartReach® program, based on her business model. She is also a published author in the medical journals in the neurology and neuromuscular fields. Highly visible in the area of association management, Ms. Noonan is a member of the American Association of Medical Society Management, the American Society of Association Executives, the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Downtown Chamber Advocacy groups, National Professional Women’s Organization of America, and the Iowa Society of Association Executives, Iowa Public Health Association and the American Public Health Association. In addition, she is an affiliate member of the American Medical Association and the Iowa Medical Society.
Kathie J. Lyman
Special Project Director
Ms. Lyman is a Past-Executive Director of the Polk County Medical Society. She has held various health-related positions since 1970, she was administrative director of the National Health Policy Council in Washington, DC from 1988 to 1990. Ms. Lyman attended Drake University where she studied Art.
Ms. Lyman works on special projects, fundraising and assists in advocacy for PCMS and the Volunteer Physician Network Program. She is highly visible in the area of association management, Ms. Lyman is a member of the American Association of Medical Society Management, the American Society of Association Executives, the Association of Business and Industry, the Medical Society Credentials Verification Organization of America, the Iowa Society of Association Executives and the Iowa Public Health Association. In addition, she is an affiliate member of the American Medical Association and the Iowa Medical Society.
Volunteer Physician Network Administrator
Ms. Bascom has worked in various administrative roles in healthcare providing leadership, marketing and communications and patient advocacy and coordination for physicians and hospitals. She also worked in the Iowa Legislature as a clerk for over 2 years. She has been with the Volunteer Physician Network Program for a total of 8 years helping vulnerable Iowans in need through access to specialty care. Ms. Bascom studied at Drake University in the fields of psychology and art.
Administrative Assistant and VPN Coordinator
Ms. Crowley has worked in grassroots campaigning, finance/bookkeeping and has worked as a coordinator for the Volunteer Physician Network for since 2016. Her background is a Bachelor’s of Political Science and History from the University of Iowa.
