IOWA BOARD OF MEDICINE: Effects on the licensure and medical practice of physicians providing care in Iowa under the state of emergency: Nonessential or Elective Surgeries and Procedures:  Effective March 27, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. all nonessential or elective surgeries and procedures that utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) masks, face shields etc… are prohibited until at least April 16, 2020.  A nonessential surgery or procedure is one that can be delayed without undue risk to the current or future health of the patient. the United States: CDC March 5th Webinar Recording 

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued a disaster declaration for the state of Iowa as of January 31, 2020 and continuing. The declaration allows pandemic-impacted small businesses to apply for low-interest support loans. Applications can be made via the SBA’s website: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/
