EXCLUSIVE MOVIE PREMIERE: THE FIRST PATIENT is a 2019 PCMS Foundation Fundraising Event in which all proceeds benefit medical student scholarships and community health programs, provided through the Polk County Medical Society Foundation (a 501c 3 non-profit).

Iowa native and international film producer Chip Dunan presents a film documentary exploring the dynamic insights into medical sciences, teamwork, death and spirituality as medical students discover what it means to be a doctor…and what it means to be a human being.

Special Q & A, post film viewing, with Film Creator, Producer and physicians/students featured in the film.
